Educational visit
Department of Dravyaguna organised a visit to “centre of Aromatic Plants” on 10/09/2024 for 2021 batch. Dr Savita Pawar( Associate professor, Dept of samhita) & Dr Aradhna Saklani( Assistant professor, Dept of Dravyaguna)Shivalik institute of Ayurved and research co-ordinated the trip.
1) Students were shown herbal garden where aromatic Plants were planted.
2) The process of oil preparation from aromatic plants was shown.
3) visit to Seed bank, poly house & museum where the oil from various plants were stored.
4) cultivation methods and fertilisers used in plants were told.
