 Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.)

Admission Qualification

Admission to the B.A.M.S. Course will be done only after qualifying NEET Examination.

Qualification for appearing in NEET : 12th standard with science (PCB) or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned State Governments and Education boards. The candidate who have passed the examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The General Category requires 50% marks and SC/ ST/ Physically handicapped requires 45% marks.

NEET score required for admission in B.A.M.S.: GEN Category – 137, Reserved Category – 107

Age Limit

Applicant should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

Duration of course

Degree Course is of 4-1/2 years and 1 year rotatory Internship Training in different hospitals and dispensaries.
Total duration of course is 5-1/2 years.  

Degree to Be Awarded

Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery- B.A.M.S).

The candidate shall be awarded Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine and Surgery- B.A.M.S) degree after passing the final examination and thereafter satisfactorily completing the compulsory rotatory internship extending over twelve months.

Medium of Instruction

Hindi and English.

2. Panchkarma Therapist (Panchkarma Sahayak)

Duration : One Year

Eligibility: 12th with PCB with 50% marks

Admission Process: Admission into Management seats and Govt. seats only after counselling and on merit basis.

3. Bhaishjya kalpak (Ayurvedic Phamacist)

Duration: Two Year

Eligibility: 12th with PCB with 50% marks.

Admission Process: Admission into Management seats and Govt. seats only after counselling and on merit basis.

4. Ayurvedic Nursing (Paricharika) 

Duration : 3 1/2 Years

Eligibility: 12th with PCB with 50% marks.

Admission Process: Admission into Management seats and Govt. seats only after counselling and on merit basis.
