6th NATIONAL AYURVEDA DAY
On the Occasion of “6th National Ayurveda Day “and “Dhanvatri Jayanti”, Shivalik Institute of Ayurved & Research celebrated the day by Worshiping the Lord Dhanvatri and conducted FOOD FESTIVAL as per the Theme “AYURVEDA FOR POSHAN” proposed by MINISTRY OF AYUSH.
The celebration commence with Dhanvatri Pooja and distribution of sweets, followed by conducting food festival competition.
The food festival competition was coordinated by Dr. Anjali pant assistant Professor cum Consultant Department of Swasthvritta & Yoga and Dr. Arun Kumar Assistant Professor Department of Samhita & Sidhanth.
There Were Total 16 groups as Participants from all batches of SIAR. Out of which 8 Groups were selected for final contest by conducting a preliminary contest on 26th and 27th of October 2021. Then on 2nd November (Ayurveda Day) The Finale of Food Festival was conducted & Jury declared the TEAM SATVIK as Winner. At the end of program three groups were selected and rewarded prize for Winner, Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and remaining Participants were awarded with participation certificate.
All the recipes were prepared by using organic Ingredient and fulfilling Ayurvedic Rules of preparation of food.
The Final program was celebrated with the presence of Dr. Satendra Kumar (Director), Dr. Simran (Principal) and all the Teaching and Non- Teaching staff of college.
Dr. Simran (Principal), Dr. Satendra Kumar (Director) and Dr. Arun Kumar has given speech on role of Food in maintaining health through Ayurveda.
The program was a great success with active participation and friendly competitions among students and with active involvement of Director, Principal and Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff’s of Shivalik Institute of Ayurved and Research.
