SHIVALIK HOSPITAL-COVID -19 VACCINATION CENTER

Shivalik Hospital, a Unit of Shivalik Institute of Ayurved and Research, Jhajra, Dehradun, is a 60-beded Hospital, run under “Indian Society to Serve Mankind”. As the Society name implies, the management works in a direction to serve mankind viz,. the local community.

Keeping the above vision under consideration a major step was taken towards that noble goal. Shivalik Hospital started Vaccination against this Global Pandemic disease, COVID-19 on 19/08/2021. As per the approval by CMO Office, Dehradun Uttrakhand, the Vaccination is provided Free of cost to anyone and everyone who walks in and is above 18 years of age, along with a free medical general health check-up by the team of highly qualified Doctors of the Hospital. Free consultation is also provided regarding general health problems and disease prevention is promoted. Covi-shield is the vaccine provided in the Hospital and data of each day is uploaded on the Cowin application provided by the Government of India.

The Vaccination drive so far running very smoothly, with over 3 Vaccination centers in Dehradun, namely, Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Balliwala Chowk, Shiv Mandir, Selaqui and Shivalik Hospital, Jhajra, itself. Shivalik Hospital drafted an efficient team on the orders of CMO Office, Dehradun, which was directed to visit different rural area of Dehradun district and vaccinate the maximum population in that area. So far, over 15,000 vaccines have been successfully administered by all the COVID warriors of Shivalik Hospital.
