Ministry of AYUSH Government of India has desired that a large scale of virtual Surya Namaskar Programme be organized to mark the holy occasion Makar Sankranti on 14th January, 2022 under the theme of celebrating “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV”. On this festival of thanks-giving to Mother Nature for spreading health, wealth and happiness around. This is also a time for transition of the Sun from one phase to another and a time for Sun salutation for all of us.
On this occasion Ministry of AYUSH planned 75 Lakh participants will Practice Surya Namaskar, observing Covid-19 appropriate behavior. More than 200 participants successfully registered on portal from our institute advice by Ministry of AYUSH, https://yoga.ayush.gov.in/suryanamaskar, https://yogacertificationboard.nic.in/suryanamaskar/ or https://www.75suryanamaskar.com before Practicing Surya Namaskar on 14th January 2022.
As per the guidelines and link shared by of Ministry of AYUSH our students, teachers, and non teaching staff were instructed for this programme and advised to all participants to do Surya Namaskar for daily practice. We suggest our participants to connect with the Social Media Facebook page of Ministry of AYUSH at 07:00 AM on 14th January 2022. More than 200 participants successfully connected with this programme and performed Surya Namaskar.
