“Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year.”

A Tree Plantation event was carried out by the Institute in support by the UNESCO Club on 5th August, 2018.The name of the event was “SAVE ENVIRONMENT: Plant Trees for healthy body and mind”.

The Chief Guest Shri Sehdev Singh Pundir Ji, MLA Sahaspur, Dehradun and also the Guest of Honour Shri Anil Goyal Ji, President of Prantiya Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal, Uttarakhand, made the event even more graceful with their presence.

The Tree Plantation was followed by a Dance performance by BAMS first year students on a gahrwali track. Students who performed are:-

-Preeti Pandey
-Sushil Semwal
-Tarun Joshi
-Kavya Parihar

After the dance performance Shri Anil Goyal ji gave a very inspiring speech on Forest Conservation. Encouraging the students and the staff to plant a single tree on every birthday.  After the enthusiastic words of the Gust of Honour the event came to an end with refreshment being served to the students.
