Shivalik Institute of Ayurved & Research organized an Educational Trip for BAMS Batch 2019 2nd Prof held at Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar on 15/09/2021. The Purpose of the trip was the Exploration and Identification of Medicinal Plants as a Part of 2nd Prof BAMS Curriculum.

There were 56 Students and 3 Faculty Members who became a part of the Educational Trip. After reaching the destination, Patnjali Yogpeeth, 2 Faculty Member of Pantanjali itself, accompanied our Institute’s visitors for a tour to Herbal Garden. It was very insightful to know that the 900 species of Medicinal Plants are being used in the treatment of various ailments without any side effects. The beauty of Ayurveda could clearly be seen and felt.

Thereafter, at 3:30 PM, the tour was over and all the students accompanied the Faculty went for a pre-organized lunch in Haridwar City. After which, it was wrap at Haridwar and the return journey to Shivalik Institute of Ayurved and Research began. At around 6:00 PM the Institute’s bus reached the Campus. Students were delighted by the small refreshment package they received at the campus.

Such Educational Trips are very important for the intellectual growth of students. Practical experiences prepare and nurture the knowledge of students.
